Our AED qualification and learning outcomes are based on the recommendations of the Resuscitation Council (UK).
Fact: Did you know that following a cardiac arrest, every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces a casualty’s chance of survival by 10%.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is one of the UK’s biggest killers, and yet statistics show that most of the public in the UK are unaware of the life-saving difference they can make by performing CPR and using a defibrillator.
The Level 2 Award in CPR and AED (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work (AED installed in their workplace), or in voluntary and community activities (you have access to a AED in your day to day life) to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely in an emergency situation.
With an estimated 60,000 out of hospital cardiac arrest occurring every year in the UK alone, this qualification will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to make sure you are prepared! After all this could save the life of a loved one.
