Forestry First Aid

All of our forestry first aid courses are run in accordance with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) training standard for delivery of First Aid at Work (FAW) courses for the purpose of the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981, Resuscitation Council (UK), and the recommendation in the First Aid at Work for Forestry Commission Policy, and are certificated for 3 years.  

 

Forestry First Aid + F 

The Forestry First Aid + F course is ideal for those who work or intend to work in forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.

Designed to accompany the Emergency First aid at work or First Aid at Work courses, this short, yet informative course provides learners with the knowledge and practical competencies needed for the treatment of injuries and diseases that could occur whilst working in a forestry/agricultural specific environment. Topics covered are: extreme hot and cold temperatures, managing catastrophic bleeding, crush injuries and lyme disease.
