Forestry First Aid
All of our forestry first aid qualifications are run in accordance with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) training standard for delivery of First Aid at Work (FAW) courses for the purpose of the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981, Resuscitation Council (UK), and the recommendation in the First Aid at Work for Forestry Commission Policy. These qualifications are regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) in England and Wales and certificated for 3 years via our Awarding Organisation, Qualsafe Awards.
Forestry First Aid + F (RQF)
The Forestry First Aid + F qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.
Designed to accompany the Emergency First aid at work or First Aid at Work qualifications, this short, yet informative courses provides learners with the knowledge and practical competencies needed for the treatment of injuries and diseases that could occur whilst working in a forestry/agricultural specific environment. Topics covered are: extreme hot and cold temperatures, managing catastrophic bleeding, crush injuries and lyme disease.
