All of our Health and Safety courses are based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Health and Safety and recommended good practice by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and are certificated for 3 years.
The following courses help the employer to meet their duty to protect the health, safety and welfare of their employees and other people who might be affected by their business.
Basic Health and Safety in the Workplace
This course has been specifically designed to provide employees with a basic introduction to workplace health and safety. It is suitable for all employees working in a range of environments and covers understanding the importance of health and safety in the workplace, the types of common hazards present and the requirements for workplace health and safety procedures.
With all subjects covered in just 4 hours, this course is ideal for providing employees working in different types of environments to help raise their awareness of health and safety in the workplace and will develop a basic knowledge of health and safety issues such as: hazards and risks in the workplace as well as fulfill an employer’s legal duty to train all their staff in health and safety.
Health and Safety in the Workplace
This course will provide employees a greater understanding of health and safety issues and the role that everyone plays in maintaining a safe working environment and covers: health and safety laws, risk assessments and risk control hierarchy, identifying and controlling risks from common workplace and hazards.
