All of our Manual Handling courses are based on National Occupational Standards (NOS) related to the manual handling of objects, people and the recommended good practice by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and are certificated for 3 years.
Safe Moving and Handling
This course is ideal for those working in a variety of environments including warehouses and shops, designed to cover the basic principles of manual handling.
Employees will learn the key principles of manual handling and how to apply to their workplace to ensure that they leave the course confident and proficient in moving and handling.
People Moving & Handling
People Moving and Handling is our most popular training within the suite of manual handling courses we deliver and is suitable for anyone who works in a health and social care setting, such as a residential home, nursing home, hospice, day centre, primary care centre, community hospital or disability service.
Training is delivered at a level appropriate to those undertaking the training so no prerequisite knowledge is required, and is therefore suitable for workers of all levels, including managers, supervisors, full-time and part-time staff and volunteers ensuring they all leave this training confident and proficient in moving people and handling equipment.
