People Moving and Handling

People Moving and Handling is our most popular training within the suite of manual handling qualifications we deliver and is suitable for anyone who works in a health and social care setting, such as a residential home, nursing home, hospice, day centre, primary care centre, community hospital or disability service.

Training is delivered at a level appropriate to those undertaking the training so no prerequisite knowledge is required, and is therefore suitable for workers of all levels, including managers, supervisors, full-time and part-time staff and volunteers ensuring they all leave this training confident and proficient in moving people and handling equipment such as hoists.

If you are interested in booking this course for your group please complete our contact form HERE detailing as much as you can about your requirements and we will be in touch.

“Paul has a great range of knowledge in relation to moving and handling and the delivery of the training is to a high standard. Paul covers a range of laws and regulations within manual handling during the theory part of the sessions and provides great practical training. He is very good at adapting to what equipment our clients have and respecting their wishes at all times during the training. He is very well mannered and nothing is too much for him. I would recommend using Paul for manual handling training”
